Growing Up

Its amazing the things you miss
As your life changes
It may be a smile
Or a hug
A scent
Or a look

You never know how good a thing you have
Till its gone
Or how much you leaned on someone
Till they leave and you fall

Is this how life works?
Does it just leave you with regrets?
Are all you left with just memories?

No...that can't be right
There will be joy
